Planning for our Baby's Baptism
I am already on my 19th week so I am already halfway through my pregnancy. Last Monday was my first day at work after being on leave for more than a month. But before I went back to work, I made sure that I did some initial planning for the baptism of our second baby.
I know, I know some of you might say that it is still too early to plan but my experience with Bela was that I was really pressed for time for the preparations. And having a newborn is really a handful so I don’t think we will have enough time to prepare especially if we want our baby to be baptized before he turns two months.
I already prepared the guest list so we will have an idea on the headcount and that is where we will base the venue that we will choose and of course the budget. I already tried inquiring at different clubhouses in the Mandaluyong and Ortigas area and we were already able to short list the clubhouse that we prefer and just keep our fingers crossed that they will still have an available slot if we will book only two months before the event. I also checked out souvenir ideas and I saw these promotional hand sanitizers which will be a very useful souvenir for the guests. I also inquired for food cart prices as I plan to have one if the budget will permit.
I don’t want to make any bookings yet as the oldies say that it is bad luck but at least I have started with the initial planning and all I have to do after giving birth is book everything. I am so excited already, not just for the planning for our baby’s baptism, but most especially for the arrival of the second bundle of joy to our family.
