my adobo experience

last week i left a message sa tag board ni kitts asking her if she have some recipes she can share with me. then i receive an email from her and she gave a website where i can get filipino recipes. she also suggested that i should try simple dishes first since i'm still learning how to cook and she suggested that i try adobo.

so i visit the site that she gave me and i immediately look for the adobo recipe. excited talaga ako mag luto ng adobo since first time ko nga.

i followed everything that was written in the instructions. gumagamit pa nga ako ng mga measuring cups para sakto talaga yung mga ingredients ko. sabi sa instructions, it will take 45 minutes to cook. so for the first 15 minutes, binabantayan ko talaga sya para hindi masunog. pero napagod ako and since 45 minutes pa naman bago maluto, i sat with my hubby sa sala and nanood muna ako ng tv. sabi ko i-check ko na lang sya ulit after 15 minutes. tapos while we are watching tv, parang amoy na amoy ko na yung adobo so i decided to check it. and nagulat ako, ubos na yung sabaw nya...:))

buti na lang hindi nasunog yung chicken, naubos lang yung sabaw. nasarapan naman si howell sa luto kong adobo kahit walang sabaw. tawa lang ng tawa mommy ko at cousin ko kse nga bakit hindi ko daw binantayan. si lola ko naman ever supportive and sabi nya, ok lang daw yun. atleast i learn from my mistakes daw....

sana next time na magluto ako ng adobo may sabaw na..hehehehe..:))
