i felt my baby move last nigth.....syempre, nakahiga na naman ako kagabi while watching tv then i felt something move sa tummy ko...akala ko dahil sobrang busog ko lang...then i felt it again...tinawag ko nga agad si howell eh....then i felt it move again....sobrang na excite si howell kaya lapit sya agad to feel my tummy...kaso, ayaw na mag move ng baby namin, noong hinawakan na nya tummy ko...inggit nga si howell eh...yun yung sinabi sa akin ng isang officemate ko, those kind of moments will never be experience by our husband....yung parang may bonding na agad kayo ng baby nyo...sabi ni howell kanina, babasahan daw nya ng mga books si baby namin pagdating namain sa bahay and intayin nya ulit gumalaw...

i read this morning from the email sent to me by babyenter.com, that at 18 weeks, the baby starts kicking, reaching, and flexing his arms and legs and sobrang active na daw talaga ng baby namin at this stage. 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a large sweet potato) and almost 7 ounces na daw ang weigth nya.

next month magpapa ultra sound na kami para malaman na namin yung gender ng baby namin. we're both very excited....

i created a space in the web for our cute puppy, sassy.

she's so cute diba?!! and naalala ko bigla, leslie ni jayson (hi leslie) mentioned na may friendster din daw for dogs, its dogster. and since wala ako magawa kahapon, i created an account for her sa dogster.

i finally got the chance to upload our honeymoon pictures. after almost 4 months....hehehe....and inupdate ko na din yung links sa blog ko to include yung mga honeymoon pictures namin...

and another good news, from 2500++ pictures, nakapili na kami ni howell ng 350++...so kaunti na lang yung kailangan naming ibawas para ma-submit na namin kila ariel yung selected pictures namin para masimulan na yung album & video namin. niloloko na kse kami sa bahay eh. baka daw intayin ko pang manganak ako bago matapos album namin.

what i did kse para madaling makapili ng pictures is i labeled first all the 12 cds na binigay nila sa amin. then tinignan ko yung mga sample layout ng mga album ng photographer namin sa website nila and based from the layout, i made a list ng mga pictures na dapat naming isama sa album. and eto yung mga pictures na dapat kasama sa album:

so we selected the pictures based from the list that i made, and after selecting we're down to 500++ pictures. then after filtering the first 500++ pictures that we selected we are now down to 371 pictures.

hopefully, bago mag end ang june mabigay na namin kila ariel yung selection namin para masimulan na nila yung album.

it's mother's day today and guess what, andito ako sa office for overtime. sayang din kse, double pay ngayon kaya pumasok na din ako. :) and since mag work nga ako today, kaya kahapon pa lang binigay na sa akin ni howell yung gift nya sa akin for mother's day:

ginawa nya ako ng painting. friday kse late na daw sya makakauwi kse mag OT sila so sabi nya doon na lang ako sa mga mommy ko matulog kse wala ako kasama sa bahay namin kung late na sya makauwi. so pumayag na ako kse miss ko na din naman yung room ko (pati yung aircon ko. :) wala pa kse kaming aircon sa house namin kaya sobrang init.)

saturday morning, 6 am pa lang daw gising na sya para gawin yung painting na gift nya sa akin. natapos daw sya around 10 am. so rigth after nyang matapos yung painting, pumunta na sya sa house ng parents ko para sabihin na may gift sya sa akin. pagkakain namin ng lunch, umuwi na kami sa bahay para makita ko na yung gift nya.

una di ko na gets, kse abstract sya...hehehe... then inexplain na nya sa akin (kse di ko pa din ma gets...hehehe)....tinitignan ko kse sya horizontally...eh dapat pala vertically ko sya tignan, kaya di ko pala magets...hehehe...ako daw yung pregnant woman na naka violet (since violet ang favorite color ko) and hawak hawak ko daw yung tummy ko. and syempre, andun ako sa favorite place ko sa bahay namin: sa sala namin in front of my big tv...hehehehe..

i'm so happy nga eh kse he even took time para gawin yun to make my first mother's day memorable. hay, sarap talaga maging mrs. laguerta :)

so noong may 8, hinatid lang ako ni howell sa office. we worked the whole day and sinundo na lang nya ako noong hapon. we've been craving for the hot chick bread ng bread talk for days na kaya sabi ko daan muna kami sa bread talk bago kami umuwi. then may nakita din akong mga miniature cakes don and i bougth 4 as our gift sa lola ko, 2 kong tita and sa mom ko.

it was really one memorable mother's day for me. thank you howell, for making it really special. i love you.

we had another checkup last saturday....maaga kami uamlis ng house para makapag palista ng maaga sa secretary ng OB ko kse marami talaga syang patients pag saturday.we left the house around 9:30 am. hindi namin kasama ngayon ang mom & dad ko kse na confine din mom ko and kakalabas lang nya noong friday kaya nagpapahinga pa sya.

pagdating namin sa clinic ni dr. uy, nagpalista agad ako and natuwa talaga ako kse pang number 2 daw kami. so hindi kami ganon katagal mag iintay.

after ilang minutes lang, tinawag na kami ng secretary nya. 11 weeks ko na ngayon and sabi ng OB ko dapat daw may heartbeat ng maririnig pag tinapatan ng mic (i don't now if it's a microphone, basta may device syang ginamit na pri-ness nya sa abdomen ko para marinig yung heartbeat ng baby) yung tummy ko. sobrang excited na naman namin ni howell kse narinig namin yung heartbeat ng baby namin. medyo mabilis nga yung heartbeat nya. sabi ni dra, normal lang daw yun.

i was also able to read na on the 9th-12th week, nag form na yung umbilical cord so may special connection na kami ng baby ko. ini-ingit ko nga si howell kse sabi ko may bonding na kami ng baby ko ngayon...hehehehe...

one of my officemate also forwarded me a site about pregnancy. and it is really very informative complete with pictures. i printed it nga para mabasa din ni howell. atleaset ngayon, alam na namin kung anong size na ba ng baby namin at this stage, and mga dapat naming i-expect.

pinahiram nga din ako ng officemate ko ng book about pregnancy (What to expect when you're expecting) plus 2 books ng mga baby names. can't wait to go home na nga para magbasa eh.
