HK Day 2 Disneyland - Nov 21, 2008

Posted by abie on 12:46 PM in
Since we had a very long day on our first day, we started our day late today. But Bela was already awake by 6:30 AM and she got all excited upon seeing our room. I was telling her that it is Mickey Mouse house.

We left the hotel around 10 AM and we checked out before we left and left our things at the concierge again. We went around the hotel first and had some pictorial again before we went to Disneyland.
There are shuttle buses available for hotel guests from the hotel to Disneyland so it is really convenient. There are quite a lot of people when we arrived there as it is already 11 AM but it is still manageable.

We first watched the Golden Mickey Show but Bela cried even before the show started so we just went out and waited for my sister and my cousins outside. Then we had lunch and we tried on some rides – Buzz Light Year, Winnie the Pooh, It’s a Small World (our favourite), Jungle Cruise.

We also lined up at the Fantasy Garden to have some pictorial again with the Disney characters. (We already lined up there before lunch but Bela fell asleep so we lined up again when Bela woke up to have her picture taken with the characters.) She just loves all of them and she is not even scared that she had a picture with all of them all by herself. She was even playing with them and giving hugs, kisses and high fives.

We were also able to watch the Disney parade but it is simpler compared to the parade that we saw last year. Too bad we were not able to make it to their Christmas parade as it will start a week after our visit.

Of course we can’t go home without souvenirs so I went gaga again shopping for souvenirs at the souvenir store at Main Street USA (which is their biggest store).

After the fireworks, we went back to Disney’s Hollywood Hotel to get our luggage then we went to TST side to check in at BP International and we call it a night after having dinner.
